CSCEC and Dubco bag $270mn contracts for Ajman project

China State Construction Engineering Company Middle East (CSCME) and Dubco Construction have been awarded contracts worth a combined AED 1bn ($272mn) for a major residential project in Ajman, UAE.

The UAE's Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme awarded the construction and maintenance contracts for the Al Montazi Residential Complex, news agency WAM reported.

Coordination will soon begin with local authorities to begin the launch of the project, the largest of its kind in Ajman, the report said.

The complex is located in the Mohamed bin Zayed region of Ajman between Sheikh Zayed Street and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Street and covers an area of close to 1 million square metres.

The Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme applies the Estidama and Pearl Standards to all its residential projects.
